Everyone in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya, is an artist: they cook food using basic food rations, build their own houses, fix, mend, innovate, create & dream! This collection celebrates the every-day lives & achievements of people living in Kakuma. ‘My Life is Art’ is a term coined by our charity’s spearhead-Emmanuel Jal-who believes creativity is an integral tool for young people to develop, become problem solvers, carve out purpose & overcome adversity.
